In recognition of International Women’s Day, AWA and Af4HA will host a webinar exploring the impact of sexual violence in conflict and fragile settings across the Horn of Africa.
The discussion will bring together regional experts to reflect on how gender-based violence affects women and communities at different stages of conflict: from active war to fragile post-conflict contexts. Speakers will share perspectives from Sudan, Ethiopia, and South Sudan, highlighting local responses and discussing what support is needed to strengthen prevention, response, and accountability.
