The Malabo Protocol establishes a single, integrated African Court of Justice and Human and Peoples’ Rights, with jurisdiction over international law, human rights, and international criminal law. It offers a powerful African-led mechanism to advance justice and accountability for serious crimes and human rights violations, and requires ratification by 14 AU member states to enter into force.
This online event marks the official launch of the campaign for the ratification of the Malabo Protocol.
